Pre-Diligence Lab Practicum

Apply investor judgment to real deal flow — without deploying capital.

About This Program

Volume of deal flow is what separates seasoned angel investors from new ones. The Pre-Diligence Lab gives select Inside the Mind of an Investor graduates access to that volume — allowing them to apply investor judgment without deploying capital, while generating structured, high-signal analysis that supports time-constrained angels and strengthens the entire ecosystem.

Purpose

  • Provide analysts with rigorous, transparent practice in evaluating early-stage risk
  • Create a shared, repeatable framework for reasoning about ambiguity
  • Equip investors with disciplined, pre-meeting insight

What Analysts Produce

Lab participants synthesize pitch decks, founder Q&A, and light research into structured Assumption & Evidence Briefs — 3–5 page risk maps that surface and organize areas of uncertainty for active angel investors. These briefs are decision-support starting points designed for time-constrained or newer investors.

Prerequisite Completion of the Inside the Mind of an Investor Intensive is required to apply for an analyst role in the Pre-Diligence Lab.

Apply for the Lab

Select IMII graduates are invited to join the Pre-Diligence Lab as analyst-practitioners. Enrollment is processed via PayPal.
