The Entrepreneurial Mindset in the Context of Startups
Our M2M Bootcamp is a 10-week Saturday program where students from a variety of backgrounds and interests learn how to harness their own skills and interests as a launchpad to create a value-driven, sustainable solution to a real-life market opportunity. If you:
- Have thought about starting your own business
- Have written a business plan in school but don’t really know where to go from there
- Want to make a big impact on your community, even the world
- Frustrated with problems you encounter, and wonder why a better solution hasn’t come along
- Wonder what type of contributing citizen you can be
- Love to problem-solve
- Have a particular STEAM interest that you’d love to explore as a career option
This Bootcamp is for you! Oftentimes, folks pigeonhole what an entrepreneur looks like, acts like, or where they can come from, but that’s really boring and doesn’t help address some of the most complex problems in our community — and in our world.
There’s room for different personalities, backgrounds, interests, and abilities to make an impact in this world. We focus on uncovering and highlighting what makes you YOU, meet you where you’re at (metaphorically), and embark on the entrepreneurial journey from your starting point and your lens.
By the end of Bootcamp, you will have an understanding of the 4 Pillars foundation, some initial proof points, an action plan for the next steps, and the ability to communicate your vision as more than just an idea or a soapbox speech.
An entrepreneurial mindset is a life skill that everyone can learn, apply, and benefit from. Not just for the “business-minded” or “techie” students, the M2M Bootcamp teaches innovative and entrepreneurial thinking to middle and HS students, seeding the cornerstones:
